Close to My Heart (2), by Angel of Music

Today life's journey takes us seperate ways
I hope you know that for you I pray

I pray that you are happy and safe wherever you go
And that I love you is something you know

I know that someday I will see you again
For distance can't truly part those who are friends

And if I don't see you again now or ever
Then we will walk the streets of heaven together

So, although our ways now do part
You will always be close to my heart.

This poem was written for a dear friend that had to move away... My life won't ever be quite the same without her... but we will always be close at heart.

this is such a sweet poem! i can really relate to this a lot! one of best friends chelsea had to move away as well. it was tough for me but i got over it enventually. but i still think bout her though.
