No Ordinary Infatuation, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

It's unexplainable,
The way I'm addicted to you,
You're oxygen to me,
Leaving me turmoiled and confused,
Underlying my emotions,
Is this grey melancholy,
You make me sad in a way,
That hurts me physically,
Everything you do,
Sticks within my mind,
I'm not a plaything,
Don't toy or be unkind,
You give me your attention,
Then ignore me for days,
I pretend that I don't care,
I know about your games,
You try to make me jealous,
I'll admit at first it cut,
But I found that box of feelings,
And safely sealed it shut,
You always come back for more,
After a little while,
Cos when you're talking to me,
You can't fight your smile,
I almost get sucked in too,
But I keep a straight face somehow,
I've harnessed my control,
And I'm exercising it now,
I'm hiding my thoughts,
And it keeps you unsure,
I'm different to the others,
That you tried before,
No I'm not ordinary at all,
I'm a different situation,
And baby you know that this,
Is no ordinary infatuation.
