Your meant to be my dad
Your meant to care for me
But all i get is rejection
What is it that you can't see ?

When you drink it changes you
Your meant to be my dad
Why is it when you take a drink
Everything turns so bad ?

I'm only 14 years of age
But to me i'm older than you
I'm meant to be your daughter
You know what i'm saying is true

I've tried to help you as best i can
More than i could ever say
But one day you'll realise
You've got so much to pay

Every day i live in disapointment
As soon as you take that first drink
You keep promising me its over
But inside my heart just sinks

I'll never forgive you for the pain you've caused
I can never erase it from my mind
But when i grow up and get a job
I'll be thankful i'm leaving you behind.
