Don't Be the One, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

My mind is playing carousel,
Too many thoughts are spinning,
Tell me, is there some way out of here?
The world's fading away and I don't know how to act,
The rumours have me wondering,
Don't you care?

Let me out,
Let. Me. Out.

Don't be the one,
Have I been really stupid again?
Again?
Don't be the one,
Cause in the end I'm the one to blame,
Just don't be the one,
Don't be my pain,

Another drip of poison,
Lands upon my tongue,
How do I regain my sanity?
You've stolen all my logic,
From a hit and run,
Do I just have to say please?

Let me out,
Let. Me. Out.

Don't be the one,
Have I been really stupid again?
Again?
Don't be the one,
Cause in the end I'm the one to blame,
Just don't be the one,
Don't be my pain,

It shreds me up inside,
Until I feel the numb,
Hurts too much to wonder,
If you were the one,
Am I the blonde idiot,
Offered the perfect chance,
Who decides to keep the same moves,
To avoid messing up the dance?
Master of denial,
I convince myself,
That what I'm truly feeling,
Must mean something else,

Let me out!
LET ME OUT!

Don't be the one,
Have I been really stupid again?
Again?
Don't be the one,
Cause in the end I'm the one to blame,
Just don't be the one,
Don't be my pain.
