My Favourite Place, by blackflamingo Subscribe to rss feed for blackflamingo

Pale, baby blue
Speckled with dirt.
Lines once white,
Now covered in hurt.

A shock to the skin,
Same effect as a pin.
Breathe in the gook,
The effect? Well, I shook.

Each stain holds a memory,
A destination, a thought.
I remember that time,
I imagined I’d been shot.

Oh what fun it is
Remembering her ways,
How she could leave me there,
Bleeding for days.

I’m sorry,
I got carried away,
Come on,
Let’s move on.

Oh dear, my bad,
This seems to be the end.
My ignorance of time
Is becoming a trend.

Don’t forget, tell your friends
About this brilliant tour
I’m sure they’d be enthralled
By my lovely bathroom floor.
