They say money don’t make the man
But man, I need to make some money
Don’t know what it’s like in the world of a rich man
But to me it isn’t funny

I feel like I’m old
But I’m 16 years young
I feel like I’m useless,
But not for long

I see the future off in the distance
When I catch up I’ll be fine
Whose world will it be then?
It’ll be mine

I look at the adults going to work
And wonder if they’re that much better than me
But after I go to college and university
Then we’ll see

Because I’m not the son of say a King
Someone who left millions for me
Through my own existence I’ll become wealthy
I know knowledge is key

But tell me,
Why does it take so long to get respected?
But if I don’t say “yes officer” quickly enough
I’m so quick to get arrested

They don’t want me to be a robber or killer
But what should I do about guys trying to rob and kill me
O, and tell me, if the system supports equality
Why do the poor pay for an education in a democracy?

And why does that old white guy come to school every year
Telling us to join up for war
Yet I wanted to go see the Matrix Revolutions
And they wouldn’t let me near the door

And how come you’re nobody
Until somebody kills you
And while your alive
Nobody appreciates you

And how come before I invent something to revolutionize
business
I have to deal with all these guys tripping
And what’s going on with these police
Their as corrupt as the guys that they’re chasing

These are just some concerns of mine
And some thoughts from my mind
That caused me to write a letter
Addressed to the Prime Minister.
