To My Mother, by beccamarie
|
For when I look at the children around
I think of you
I hope to be
Everything you think of me
You have taught me everything I know
You have showed me how to grow
And now I'm sending back to you
All the thanks I know are due
You are my hero
Deny all you want
I look to you when I am weak
I look to you when I can no longer speak
When all I see is blurred through tears
You hold me tight and shed my fears
Even when we fight
All I do is hold on tight
For when we're done
It will all be alright
Mommy I love you
And when you leave
the hole inside of me
will always be
I'll always love you
and you'll always love me.
