Finale, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

I find it incredible,
The way that we expose ourselves,
Only to feel the cold,
We never see clearly,
Past our point of view,
Words become too bold,

It's painful, with hindsight,
To watch her making my mistakes,
The finale, the fight,
The remaining pieces break,

I could have warned her,
That I've been where she is,
But I chose not to interfere,
With understanding comes hurt,
Memories unfold,
I'm overly aware,

Maybe, it's right,
For me to on look sadly,
It's just that, I know,
Obsession hurts you badly,

She's leaning against him,
She's made her feelings known,
But all she receives is ice,
He gets up and moves,
She's bitterly blinded,
She wouldn't hear my advice,

Illusions, black lies,
To convince her of affection,
But he's blunt, she cries,
A fight to end any connection,

I know just how she feels,
And that makes me feel ashamed,
Healing takes so long,
These wounds run in deeply,
She's waded in even deeper,
Everything is wrong,

It's painful, with hindsight,
To watch her making my mistakes,
The finale, the fight,
The remaining pieces break.
