Cheers, by Austin Hoehn Subscribe to rss feed for Austin Hoehn

here is
to all the days
we would stay out
and play, in the days sun from dawn until we were done,
to all the walks home after school,
to all the times we would help each other with homework,
to all the sprinkler fun,
to all the later afternoons in the swings in the shade and
the sun,
through second to sixth grade
and still going,
through all the teasing
that seemed never ending,
through thick and thin
through the end of the singing sitting in the tree
K-I-S-S-I-N-G,
up to now still friends,
up to the end
which is never,
so cheers to our never ending friendship
