Shards of Ice, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

I was contemplating,
The extent of all misery,
When I saw you with her,
And knew it should've been me,
We could've been everything,
But it all fell apart,
Drifted into shards of ice,
To pierce my waiting heart,

And sitting on the bus that night,
I wondered how we ruined something so right,

I was saturated,
By the weakness inside,
With nothing by time,
And nowhere to hide,
So permeated,
By my own stupidity,
My mind a prison,
Without any key,

And sitting in silence alone the bext day,
I wondered how I was given happiness to be thrown away.
