Slashing Withdrawl, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

I'd broken the habit,
Well so I thought,
I didn't consider,
My heart being caught,
So standing weakly,
In the shower last night,
The gleam of a razor,
Was a comforting sight,
My earlier discovery,
Of his new girlfriend,
Was more than enough,
To bring withdrawl to an end,
Holding the blade,
His words in my head,

  "I love her"...

All reason was dead,

~I can't let them see,
Think of how they'll react~

I cut into my thigh,
No turning back,
I'm self-inflicting anew,
Because of you,

"Your eyes are such a pretty colour"...

I'm over, I'm through,
I let the blood run away,
Transported back into my past,
Determined, so determined,

~This time will be my last~.

It's so powerful... yet ir makes me hurt for you. I truly hope it is not based on true events.
