Cupid's Intervene, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

She's on ultra-defensive mode and I've become a threat,
But I will stand my ground and be as close as I can get,
The more that it pisses her off to see me being his friend,
The more I'll continue to make it a common trend,

She can't stand it when we're talking, when we're laughing
all the time,
She interupts with any way she can to show that he's not
mine,
She's looking for attention and she regrets they ever
split,
And now she's intensely jealous and has made me her next
hit,

Well sweetie you'd better back off,
He ain't a possession,
And no one really cares,
About your hopeless obsession,

He and I have also been down that path before,
Maybe we'll rekindle and refind our love once more,
The fact that she is hating it just makes it much more fun,
It's time for her to realise that they're really done,

She hates it when we're flirting, when we're smiling all the
time,
She's doing her very best to try and draw a line,
The thing is she has no say in it and I kind of feel bad,
I've been in her position before but now that I'm not sad -

Sweetie you'd better step away,
I've got his attention,
And no one really cares,
You don't even get a mention,

Sweetie if you know what's right,
You'd better move on,
It's obvious that he has,
It's time that you were strong,

Sweetie I am sorry,
That I've stepped in between,
But sometimes you can't stop,
Cupid's intervene.
