and glory rains from sky
when you stand still
and the world blows by.
if only this were no accident...
if only this were the life we forget.
who would have thought
the joke wasn't funny
what are you gonna do now
you've got yourself
and an lsd fucked bunny.
the giggles glow
and ring in your ears
oh my how good it feels
to jsut feel for once
after all these years.
you would notice that
things are wispy and fading in and out
is the stuff that nobody
takes the time to see
during the workweek.
the haves and the have nots
i wonder why
you felt the need to lie
oh course,
i would have drank it anyway
would not i have?
unexpected trip
an insight into a place
i tried to forget existed.
i've gone down the bunnyhole yet again
and have i fallen fast
too far past where
i last turned back?
the lines all match up
with the gelatin trees
and the liquid sidewalks
the world comes to a point
and then where from there?
horizons on Daliesque baren wastelends
the blood dries black
and the bruises are brilliant yellow
the purple tones of herion lie
underneath the glinting sun
and this is the place where
the war was begun.
i can't say i hate it here
and i can't say i like it...
it's just the reality
that is jumbled in my head.
i have a lot to think about...
welcome home ellie j
please this time,
won't you stay?

xoxo
