Cold, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

This little game we play 'darling',
 I swear it's consuming me,
Biting into
           what I was,
Transforming me into someone else
                                 (a stranger),

With an iron pressed upon my heart,
 Thoughts steaming,
Sanity frazzling,
                  Confusion demanding replays,
        (Demanding hope),

I'll take two steps backwards,
 Avoid
your
  eyes,
Then swivel
(hesitating a second to see if you turn me around)
and run,
Into the freezing rain
where my heart meets the cold,

There's a fine line between love and hate
(and I need a fucking electron microscope to define it).
