Before I Choke, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Tell me where I am now,
I'm tangled somewhere between,
Which way does the compass point?
There's so many thoughts unseen,

 Questions are corroding my dreams,
His eyes are pulling me in,
 Competing to silence the ticking,
 But can I really win?

__________I tried to be free but I couldn't__________

Love, what I wouldn't do,
To dissipate this smoke,
Love, I need to breathe you,
Before I choke...

Tell me where you are now,
 Maybe I could find you,
Which way does your tired heart point?
 These lips are turning blue,

Answers offer sleepless nights,
Fatigue offers doubt,
Still I struggle hopefully,
But is there even a way out?

__________I whispered to stop but you wouldn't__________

 Love, what I wouldn't do,
 To dissipate this smoke,
Love, I need to breathe you,
 Before
 I
 choke...
