Shelter Me, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

There's so many sensors to avoid,
To make it to where we want to be.
I intended on staying inside the lines,
Never meant to cause such misery.
This wasn't meant to be a triangle,
It was supposed to be just us two.
I never foresaw her pain in the picture,
All I wanted was me and you.

I didn't want this complication... no
And we can't, we can't...

You leave it all up to me,
And I know you're not shy.
Don't you think it's time for her to say goodbye?
She's gotta catch those crystal tears,
Forget about those crimson fears.
Don't you think it's time to abolish the lie?

We've got something indescribable, we glow.
Gold edged daydreams melt away the snow.
Fairydust sparkles litter my head.
It shouldn't be so hard, we've already bled.

I didn't want this complication... no
And we can't, we can't... let it go

There's so many sensors to avoid,
Can't we turn off all of the alarms?
Taking it slow, no mistakes this time.
The storm is raging, shelter me in your arms.

I didn't want this complication... no
Why can't we, can't we let it go?
