Reality, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Slipped somewhere between the chords of time,
Caught hazardly in denial,
Shoved in the back of the closet,
Hidden behind a smile,

Was reality.

Her words written to you so true,
Were ice around my heart,
I can barely breathe thinking of them,
How can I tear that apart?

'Remember me'.

Blank it out, twink it in white,
Ink the waters, smother the light,
Indifference will never make it right,
Sink beneath the skin of night,

Into misery.
