Never Give A Group of Pyromaniacs Fire and a Bag of Marshmallows, by Lovesick and Sick of It Subscribe to rss feed for Lovesick and Sick of It

I should have told him everything
I should have let him know I cared
But now he’s gone; I blew my chance
I wish I hadn’t been so scared

Of what, exactly, I’m not sure
Perhaps of how he would react
Was I afraid of his rejection?
It doesn’t matter now; he’s packed

He’s gone away to Ireland
And happy for him, that I am
But, still, I wish that he had stayed
If only for another day

There should be time when he returns
To let him know how my heart yearns
But still, I’ll have to wait four weeks
To see the boy that my heart seeks

…And that really, really sucks
