Rope, by . QUEENIE . Subscribe to rss feed for . QUEENIE .

living on air
breathing hope
hold your breath now
here they come
they've secured a rope.

to save you they say
to hang you, you pray.

interferring
messing up
you worked so hard
water, pain, and hunger
you were halfway there.

to save you they say
to hang you, you pray.

i've gone this route
to stop the pain
from finding you
i hurt msyelf
so you dont have to.

to save you they say
to hang you, you pray.

to hang you..
you pray.
in and out.
death is an empty threat
you think im afraid?
im already dead inside
you dont see
the ways i've cried.
the mehtods false
the truths i have lied.

they're coming
they're coming
they're running now
trying to reach hold
of something real
well babes
reach and reach
there's nothing left to feel.

to save you they say
to hang you, you pray...

why struggle another day?

xoxo

Seems to be filled with riddles...but I can feel some kind of thrill in the poem..

tie you in from swimming too far out, so you dont get pulled into a riptide and pulled under with the flow of things, saving you, but they might as well be hanging out, they're taking away your dreams... and it doesnt matter, you're as good as dead as it is.
