I Think Of You, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Every time I feel sunshine on my face,
I think of you.
Of us sitting in the sun, laughing,
Falling away anew.
Your arm wrapped around my waist,
Smiles glow.
Blue eyes meet turquoise, butterflies,
Cos we know.

I know that you're my baby
It all falls into place
Somehow I find hope
In the expression on your face
You know that I'm all yours
Look at where we are
Somehow we found ourselves
Somewhere among the stars

Every time I'm feeling far away,
I think of you.
Of your arms around me, tightly,
The little things you do.
The way you're reluctant to release me,
Soft words always reach.
Time has taught us caution and sweetness,
Only hurt can teach.

Promises dusted with icing sugar.
Avoiding frozen footprints,
Melting each one we pass,
Somewhere...
Skipping pain across the pool.
My heart's a boomerang,
You threw it far but here we are ~
Somewhere among the stars.

When I knock over the paint,
When the world fades into blue,
When the poison permeates,
When the pain soaks slowly through.
When I'm lost amongst the mess,
With no way of knowing what to do,
Wrapping words around the wound,
Baby, I think of you,
I think of you.
