Replays, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Sometimes it overwhelms,
There's too much to obscure.
Left void of understanding,
Black ink taints the water pure.
I can't translate the essence of the hurt,
But I know it feels replicated.
Perplexed by what I can't revert,
Darkness isn't sated.

Maybe it's the way I'm ostracised,
Maybe it's the concealed guilt.
Maybe it's the storm within those eyes,
Threatening to tear down what I've built.
Maybe it's just the corroding fear,
That the problem is concentrated to me.
Dimming the light in which I should revere,
Souring honey with acidity.

Let me glitter, let me glow,
Dispense the thoughts that hurt us so,
Take the bitterness and let it go.

Resplendent in a golden haze,
Let me linger in this phase,
Exuberant in warming rays.

Please _ don't _ focus _ on _ replays.
