I'm Sorry, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

It's still not clear where we drew the lines,
But we stepped over and had to pay the fines.
Feigned oblivion to all the burning signs,
And exploded every of the obvious mines.

I'm not imperious to your venomous ice,
Suddenly it's an effort just to be nice.
Maybe if you didn't seem quite so unfeeling,
My hurt could convalesce, my mind begin healing.

You're imperturbable, impossible to read.
Incandescence allows your jealousy to feed.
You resent the truth and run a fucking mile,
I'm ever so sorry for owning a smile.

I'm not insensitive, I feel guilty for you,
Since I'm the reason for every hostile thing you do.
Well I never wanted to carry any of the blame,
But it seems that fault associates with my name.

.._I'm sorry
.._For being me
.._That my existence creates your misery
.._Inconsolably
.._This is the end
.._I'm so sorry for trying to be your friend

The world is ugly when you flick on the light switch,
You're just a malevolent, spiteful little bitch.
Because I cared and worried, for three years I suffered it.
But your cold-hearted replies just aren't worth the shit.

You should be cautious of impetuous reactions,
The next time that you insult my personal attractions.
You scare everyone away with your animosity,
Despite that fact you always had a loyal friend in me.

But forget about that, it's far too late.
I only ever wanted to help you, you only ever wanted to
hate.
I tried to be perspicacious, helped you struggle with your
depression,
Now you're about to become my biggest, most empty
repression.

You pulled me down, never wanted me to be strong.
Lived each day for the times that I was wrong.
Your imperious eyes eventually made me weak,
And in the end words just couldn't speak.

.._I'm sorry
.._It was me
.._That led to your bitter insanity
.._Indelibly
.._This is the end
.._I'm so sorry for trying to be your friend
