Just A Doll, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Shimmering blue eyeshadow,
Accentuates navy eyes.
Lips sparkle raspberry,
Eloquence apparent.
There she sits,
Skirt swept prettily around her,
She feels she's no more,
Than a doll.
Propped in a corner,
Mostly ignored,
Apart from inquiries,
Related to academics.
"Intelligent girl,
So well spoken,
Stunning to look at."
And sick of it.
No one really cares,
About her presence,
And no one sees,
Her eyes are too bright.
So she crosses her legs,
Smoothes her top,
Nothing more,
Than a doll.
