Watch Your Heart, by charlene
|
Careful of who you love
Watch who you trust with your heart
It only takes one little shove
Before you know it, your worlds torn apart
Believe me it's happened in the past
Promises don't mean anything
Love doesn't ever really last
Not even with a golden ring
First they charm you with sweet words
And make promises of trust and faith
Then you find him in the arms of another girl
And you're tossed aside like a homeless waif
So watch out for your heart
Don't believe all he says
Stop it before it starts
And you won't have to hurt this way

And yet, every once in a while... when you least expect it... the person of your dreams will arrive to sweep you off your feet... |
