Rejection! 

Why do I resist rejection? 

Life! 
Seemingly chaotic and unfruitful. 

Family members and friends begin to say the most upsetting
things. 
Why let my heart be troubled? 

Emotions which spring from the center of the abyss. 
Feelings generated by the one who stirs the cinders hot. 

Why contemplate the feelings of hurt, pain, and rejection? 

Emotions 
A test set before me. 

Prayer! 
My heart quickens me. 

The answer comes in the peace of prayer, momentarily, 
I counter attack rejection with blessed assurance 

God's Grace is Sufficient for me
