A Month Away, by Natalie Subscribe to rss feed for Natalie

Your face has changed,
Or is it my eyes?
Those that see a man
With one leg
And two hearts.
Meek and torn,
Tired and worn.
Fingers clasped,
They intertwined at the tips.
A weighed down heart
Too heavy to carry,
Drag marks form the ground.
But I'll still wear it
On my dirt stained sleeve
And show it off
To any who ask.
