Let's just act like it's not true
Pretending we're deprived
Just don't stop doing what it is you do
It's keeping me alive
&& when it's dark and all i can see
Are your eyes looking back at me
I can't help but want to be
Back in time
Cheap white wine
Speaking sober hearts
With drunken minds
Bedroom floors
Locking doors
I can't help but
Want some more
But It hurts to walk into this room
&& glance at the middle of the floor
It has irony written all over it
So reading it hurts me more
Because I may not jump at the chance
To see you or give you a call
But I try my hardest to keep it inside
And later on, regret it all
