Concrete Skies, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

I'm holding you closely, you're right here,
Yet you seem to be so distant, so far away.
Caught in a tapestry of questions,
Dwelling over everything wrong with today.
Well, I don't know what to do,
Because I just cannot reach you,
When you go walking in the concrete skies.

You scare me when you cannot save me,
You scare me when you're not my baby.

I don't care about their opinions at all,
I swear I won't ever let them intrude,
You mean so much to me, you mean my heart,
So we'll wait out every interlude.
Well, I don't know what to say,
Because I cannot make you stay,
When you slip into your turbulent eyes.

You're scare me when you're too lost to crave me,
You scare me when you're not my baby.
