Just for the sake of love, by Cherie Subscribe to rss feed for Cherie

You can practice this prayer whenever you lose a loved
one in a war, or just for the sake of love in this world. Go
try it out. It worked for me. All the people who seemed to
be lost actually just got severely injured (actually, some
died).

It's not really a poem but who cares.

For those whom I would never abandon, for those who
wanted their lives to flow into the river of immortality,
the spell has been broken. May you rest in your grave of
darkness. May you dream the boldest dreams. May you rise
invincibly into heaven and dance on the cloudless floors and
become one who has been honored in his time.
     May you never be forsaken.
     Amen.

I wrote this with my cousin, who is truly a great
writer. We played with the language a little bit, and that
was all. So I recommend that you try it out.
Just for the sake of love.
