I wished upon a star to find something so true
I knew I shouldn't expect that much knowing
what I went through in the past but for some odd
apparent reason you showed up and made me dreams
a reality.  Who knew after all I have been through
that a love like ours would never die.  I wanted you
to see the real me but it took awhile and finally I am
starting to see who I should have been a long time ago and
it was all because I wished upon a star one dreary foggy
night.
