In a world where people are fleetingly taught; 

that our gender is irrelevant, the playing field is equal

that our sexuality is not important, the rules of the old
fashioned days are long gone

that education plays no part in how successful you are, for
its the lessons in life, not in the classroom that are
important

It's hard to see the things that people do in our world that
cause it spiral downward every day, yet not point an
accusing finger at those responsible...

Its hard to rise above it all...

its hard to make a difference..
