Why is it I always feel alone?
Even when they say they are my friends,
Are they loyal to me, I well never know,
I'm afraid this sadness will never end.

Why is it I have pain and suffering,
Why is it that my friendships mean nothing?
When they ignore all my feelings,
It's my soul they're slowly stealing.

See these foolish ways,
Are hiding my joy and happiness.
With big clouds of deep gray,
That fill the skies with darkness.

I just need a shoulder to lean on.
A friend who could be there.
