Too In Love, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

I’m treading on the edges of shadows,
Waiting in each paused pixilation,
Focusing on the image that I see,
Not the colour of the situation.
The line that defined want from need,
Has blurred somewhere in my broken mind,
I could keep searching for the answer,
But I’m scared of just what I might find.

             Pirouetting into the promises,
             Among indigo and blue.
Watching the rain fall from above,
I’m too in love, I’m too in love,
I’m too in love with you.

I stumble over my refusals,
I don’t want to acknowledge what’s true,
But darling am I in danger,
Of losing me in the depths of you?
Lies form a poison tapestry,
Absorbing every strangled cry,
I’d step off the edge of earth for you,
If you said your love could make me fly.

…_When I question what I know, my heart answers every
why,
…_You mayn’t save me but I’m your baby and you let me
touch the sky.
…_I can’t ever let it go, I don’t even want to try,
…_Love may deceive, well I can’t breathe without your
lullaby.

             Pirouetting into the promises,
             Among indigo and blue.
Watching the rain fall from above,
I’m too in love, I’m too in love,
I’m too in love with you.
