Silence, by Lindsay Subscribe to rss feed for Lindsay

I walk a road
of which no one knows
I shed a tear
for everyone who is dear.

The road leads me
to a place that I am not meant to be
I walk in peace
and sit in silence

The silence is grand
a chance to hold God's hand
I think in the dark
where no one can mock.

To think in rest
that within the silence I may be blessed
I allow my mind to travel
So I can prepare for the Up and coming Gravel.

I open the door
To find the peace so long looked for
I open up the clap
and reach out to grasp.

But as I do
The noise runs in too.
