i dont understand
why things are the way
that they are
with you.
i just dont get
why you have to go
out and do the things
that you do.
boys and drugs,
sex and music
aesthetics and makeup
silicon and
plastic, vinyl
everything is so
fake
with you.
and now it's
happening...
things are slipping
we're on
our little plane
of glass so clear
but nothing
makes sense.
it's tipping up
and you're sliding off.
we grabbed hold
to the top
and you did not.
you held onto stuff
with no real roots,
and now you are falling
off the reality scale.
i can't believe
that as your friends
we let ourselves fail.
we can only hope
for a bump in your track
that you will hold one tight
and crawl your way back.
we cant let go,
for fear of ourselves
will make us odd,
we cant help you,
not anymore...
climb little girl,
find your way back.
we're waiting for you.

xoxo
