Murky Veins, by Audrey Subscribe to rss feed for Audrey

Amidst the crowd
We stood faceless
Having no clue, having difficulty
To meet in total complexity
Time hinders all possibilty
And it came to pass
With both hands clasps
While they pull it out forcibly.
We faced multiple thresholds
Wearing out each strand of hope left.
I held you like no one ever did
Fastened you each passing day
with compassion.
Understanding.
Love.
Care and comfort.

In return, I got ignored.
You aimlessly ran away in doubts.
In quests of feeding up you robusts ego.
Stomping in bed of lust and deception
Spearheading a batallion of senseless
Beliefs that is only admissible to a
court of vicious jury.
Did you ever looked at where you left me?
Drowning in ocean of regrets
Yet still in optimism of your coming back.
And you did.
Do I rejoice in glee?
Do I smile that you have found a way to me?
Or shall I weep?
Do I get to laugh knowing you are not complete
without me?
Will I open my arms to shield you
With the same warmth and amity?
You put in perplexity.
I thought.
