Anchored, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Arched warmly,
Nestled around my heart,
Is this panic of what could be.
For where I'm floating the anchor is heavy,
I chose it, I polished it,
You just coiled the rope around my feet.
For every darting undertone I find a hiding place,
Beneath my denial,
Smothered by violent emotion.
Your eyes compel me to disregard the signs,
I tell myself they're rusty anyway.
For how could I breathe,
Without your love?
