Sunlight Smile, by Anna Lorena Subscribe to rss feed for Anna Lorena

The day was dark and dismal
The world- grey as silt
And nothing felt as 't were to last,
So heavy were the clouds.
A little ray of sunlight
Peering down to earth
Caught the eye of one young boy
And lit his round, red cheeks.
His smile reflected the light he saw,
It bounced it all about-
So very shortly afterwards
He shared it with his Mum.
The smiles spread continually
And chased away the clouds-
The little ray of sunlight
Danced joyfully all around.
