My Heaven, by ally Subscribe to rss feed for ally

I found this place,
a place so soft and right.
Wrapped in blanket
which was once pure white.

Time is up in this oasis
when the sun first peeps in.
My heaven is so suductive
I think I've made it a sin.

It's looking up at your smile
as our bodies entangle in sweat.
It's that sigh of relief when
your expectations are met.

Then it's caramel covered cookies
without my head leaving the pillow.
Yet, heaven is found in sweetness
inbetween our whispers so low.

Here I am safe, secure
and painted a warm hue.
My heaven is passion trickled
with aromas that smell like you.

It's the falling of my hair
and its lacing of your face.
It's here your words are immortal
and can never be erased.

Your hand on my thigh
and my head on your chest.
Not only my heart but in this
heaven my soul eternally rests.

Assurance that when I reach for you,
I will never grasp air.
That is why heaven is my
side of the bed whenever we dare.
