RJL, by Anna Lorena
|
Quiet, reluctant, endurant, brave-
A tired man in a body which must sustain
Through trying times without
Complaint
Protest
Or the ability to make it all go away.
Silence through sorrows-
Shouts when no one can understand:
The need for compassionate companions
Outweighs the need for understanding
Because no one can ever really know
What this hellishly difficulty position
Takes out of a body
And a spirit.
The spirit which loses control
Over the body-
That must yield to something far greater
Every so often, predictably.
