Control, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Flick it on, flick it off,
Leave me waiting for the light,
Believing that the darkness is going to be okay.
Tell me yes, tell me no,
Hold me tight then let me go,
Knowing that you have me, I just can not walk away.

Well maybe you think that it’s fine,
To hold the pen, to draw the line.

//I hope you open up your eyes before it’s too late to
see,
That I can breathe without you, you’re not oxygen to
me.//

Just a whisper, just a shout,
You block everything bad out,
Because you only hear what it is you want to know.
Another threat, another sign,
But you love to think that I’m just fine,
As if I am incapable of ever feeling low.

Well maybe you’re just on parole,
And I won’t let you have control.

//I hope my value is enough to avoid setting me free,
But I can breathe without you, you’re not oxygen to me.//
