Sitting on my bed
Staring at the wall above my computer
Where a fangirl's dream stares

Which reminds me of
The picture above my computer
Of the pirate I want to come
And kidnap me in a raid on East Lansing
Which reminds me of
The picture on the wall
Whose eyes follow me

What I wouldn't give
For the one who owns those eyes
To show up at my door
With his kids
But no girl
And ask to come in
So the kids would have someplace to play
And we could sit on the sofa
Watch TV and the kids
And I could dreamily doze off
Leaning against him
