Desire and tears, by Veracity Subscribe to rss feed for Veracity

I look at you
At your beauty
And I cannot help
But to wish you were mine
I would give anything
To hold you close to me
Kiss your beautiful, full lips
And pull you into a warm embrace
There is no stronger desire that fills me
I want you
Need you
You capture my heart
Entice my soul
Oh how badly I want you
My heart yearns for your love
Now my heart shatters
As I watch you walk down the hall
With another girl
Her long blonde hair
And emerald eyes
Your fingers entwined with hers
I am filled with sadness and jealousy
I cannot stand this pain
Crushing my soul
Squeezing my vulnerable heart
Bitter tears now flow from my eyes
As I sit in the bathroom
Huddled in the corner
Trying to surpress my retching sobs
How can I stop this pain?
I want it so badly to end
My eyes look around
Searching for the answer
I stumble (finally) into the kitchen
And the answer is staring at me
Right into my tear-stained face
Sighing with relief
I take the knife and slash my wrist
Crimson blood spills out
Soon it will all end
As I lay dying
Your image floats through my head
I smile as I forever depart
From this world of cruelty

Goodbye...
