The wishing well, by Acushla Subscribe to rss feed for Acushla

The wishing well is sadly dry
Now all ungranted wishes take off and fly
Out into the neverending night sky
Where they will wander aimlessly, alone.
Forgotten by all those, except the wisher themself
Who is earnestly waiting for answers to their cries of help
That they may be saved from the many troubles they face
By a hero, an angel, a savior.
But the well's enchanted waters have forever disappeared
No more can their saviors, heroes, angels appear
They're left alone to tremble in fear
And pray for it all to be over.
Their only hopes are not who the well sends
But those who can help them through to the end
The broken, the shattered, by them they're mend
They are the guiding hearts of lovers
