Reflection , inspired by Sylvia Plath's poem Mirror, by lacebutterflies Subscribe to rss feed for lacebutterflies

I am purple like the sky at sunset. I am not unstable, but I
don't have a heart of stone. You think I am soft. You think
I am weak. I am neither of thoes things.I kiss everything
that I see.Everything, that is, except you.Now I am the
moon. I know al of the Earth's secrets. I am cold, dark, and
aching with mystery.Touch me. Touch me and you will feel my
iciness.Taste me and your toungue will blister.Look at me
and your eyes will turn back into their scokets.Know me? You
don't know me.I am a blizzard. I am a desert storm. I am the
fire that burns your eyes.
