Our teachers that are in school
joyful be your mood
Thy work be taught and cheaters caught
in Math as well as English
Give us this day our daily homework
and forgive us our lateness
as we forgive you your crankiness
And lead us not into confusion
But deliver us from hard work
For thine is the class, and the headaches
and the frustration
For ever and ever Amen

| Felicia, Thank you very much for your coments on my poems. Also i read this of your poem and want to tell you that I like it very much! It runsalong the same tone avenue as the Lord's Prayer..Our Father who art in heaven...hallowed be thy name... thy kingdom come thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven! I love the lord's prayer and the pun in this poem to the teachers I am sure has to be appreciated by some of your teachers. I think it is a very good poem and has to give someone a smile. anfd that in itself is priceless at times. God Bless you Felicia and keep writing! this is good! Capristar :) |
