The Ocean, by EmeritusTrickster Subscribe to rss feed for EmeritusTrickster

Looked up into his eyes,
and i could've sworn that i saw my heart there.
Felt the air around us rush and burst...
The time around us freezing,
yet still ticking away...
and i wanted to shout out,
this is what I live for,
but i was stuck in those eyes so blue,
like the ocean that i drown in,
everytime i take a moment to imagen.
You suck in a breath and I smile,
brought out of my daze with a sticking out of your tongue.
Inside jokes never felt so important to me before,
now they're all I can think about.
All i have to hold on,
like my life line to this world,
where I have to remember that we're just friends.
And yet we're not.
So much more then that and everytime you look at me I see
it.
And it feels like I'm wadeing in the ocean,
with the beach and everyone else behind me.
Before me I can see the island that i dream about...
The one that the fish and i always talk about...
Eyes that are so blue that i can't name the color...
And i try to paint them,
but it's hard to remember which shade is which...
and where...
Then I imagen your smile,
and feel myself sink in deeper...
drowning with blue eyes above me...
Then it's back to realtiy as you laugh and say something.
And i shudder and try to pull it together...
Because next to my heart in your eyes,
I see your's,
and I fly as you give me that look and stick your tongue
out.

** So it's been nine days short of a year since I've been on
this site so... yeah, a lot of catching up to do.**
