TAKE A CHANCE, by gloria lavigne Subscribe to rss feed for gloria lavigne

The cover of the book, so tattered and worn.
some pages bent, mended where torn.
The story inside, like it was written for you,
a fabulous journey to take you thru.
So many books sitting on the shelf,
I sat down, read them myself.
The lesson learned from these tattered old books,
never judge a book by thr way it looks.

The same it true for people you know,
the outside you see is only for show.
Talk and listen with a smile on your face,
just think if you missed being at this place.
If you judge everything at first glance,
so silly, you just might miss romance.
Don't miss the one who may be pure gold,
love and protect you from the cold.

The tenderness and passion of that very first kiss,
oh what a shame if that you had missed.
So like the cover of that very first book,
never judge a person on that very first look.
Give them a chance, hear and listen too,
It may be the one so very right for you.
