 I gave him my heart
He said I was his world
 I trusted him
He said I was his baby girl
 We shared times
Both good and bad
 He could always tell
When I was upset or mad
 He was so perfect
It just didn't seem true
 But I guess I should
Have listened to you
 He took my heart
And handled without care
 Then when I needed
He was never there
 He caused me pain
And the tears on my cheek
 I was left in shock
I could barely speek
 I had trusted him
With all of my heart
 But I guess that was
Just for at the start
 Because after awhile
He was never around
 And I was appalled
After what I found
 The numbers were on
His caller I.D.
 And those messages
They weren't from me
 That lipstick in the car
The smell on his clothes
 Just how each other
Story seems to go
 He was my everything
He was my all
 And I never imagined
It'd hurt this much to fall
Now I know to think twice
After a guy has spoken
Because he may just leave you
With your heart, broken.

well in all honesty its sad and hard to imagine that anyone has gone through that most seem that it could never happen to them until they hear it from someone else then they can relate more. thanks for the comment on my poem.
