Aquarius' Love, by Anthony Cardon Subscribe to rss feed for Anthony Cardon

Alas the beauty of the heart,
For it blinds us from the
Facade of reality,
Giving us your born state.
Beauty, human essence,
All appear through mirrors

Of ourselves.
We cannot Fight
The lies
That the beauty we drown within
Our minds

Is dangerous,
For anything can be beautiful,
Even the beasts of the world.
Some follow the ground
And glorify the conventional.

But those who fall into
The "Gorgeous Seas of Satan"
Obscure their vision and drown to death.
For righteous beauty exists
Only in familiarity.

Alas, my sweet God,
Where is the beauty I have lost?
Must I live
With this gaping hole?
That wound had my love, my forbidden passion.

It was not on,
But within me.
If light will not fill it's shadows,
The ocean is my place.
